David's Bridal

Dress Ideas: I just LOVE the chic new styles of bridesmaid dresses at David's Bridal! These are totally wear-again dresses that won't break the bank. My favorite ideas: Belted waists are super flattering; off the shoulder black is perfect for black tie or an evening cocktail affair; patterned bridesmaid dresses are totally unique and make for great photos!; and their new blue color is an absolutely gorgeous match for a sky or the ocean backdrop! I also love how you can add an accent to your dresses--with a sash or, best of all, a peekaboo skirt!
Paris
Elopement Idea: Paris! (see details of this wedding at the Museum Rodin, complete with macaroons from Laduree, here). What a wonderful way to keep your wedding affordable, beautiful and intimate.

Rings

How Romantic is This: The blogger's fiance on Oh, Hello Friend made her this wooden engagement ring (he carved it himself!). Afraid it would break, she saved it as a keepsake and he ordered her these two rose rings on Etsy. The double roses represent the two of them, and the single rose--her wedding ring--represents Christ. How beautiful!

Cakes
A great gift idea for a bachelorette party? A yummy cake, and custom cake topper from I Do Cake Toppers! A great keepsake for the bride.
Vintage
Cool New Site: City Chic Vintage, an online site selling recycled, vintage glassware for your wedding!
Broadway
Venue Idea: The 1903 Hudson Theatre in New York City! Why? 1) Unique theatrical lighting; 2) dancing on the stage; 3) your name on the marquee; 4) a playbill featuring the bride and groom; 5) only one wedding is held per day; 6) Best of all: you can hire a broadway star to sing at your wedding! Visit www.MillenniumHotels.com for more information.Purple

I love the glamorous details from this vintage-inspired wedding: a purple wedding gown (with fur stole!); gorgeous pink bridesmaids' dresses; vintage books made into programs.
